Dear PCMS Families, 

 

I am honored to be your principal and I look forward to our journey. I have spent most of my life  loving education and Powell County. I have a deep desire to see our county move forward and my love for our students is the driving force behind every decision I make here at PCMS. 

 

My vision for PCMS is to create an atmosphere where students feel they belong. A place where they feel they have worth and they realize their potential. A true collaborative effort among students, staff and community and one in which communication occurs at all levels. Until students feel they matter, our academics will not thrive.

 

It is my desire to allow our students to gain access to something beyond the walls of the classroom. We strive daily to ensure students know what it means to be a true collaborator, contributor, communicator and critical thinker and to truly care for others.
